Mr. Bloomer has over 23 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry specializing in Clinical Research. Mr. Bloomer has extensive experience working with Sponsors, CROs and Academia in the areas of Project Management, Training, Clinical Trials Monitoring and Management, CRA Line Management and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor. He has held positions as: Director, Program Delivery, Quality Management and Training Manager, Senior Global Project Manager, Clinical Operations Lead, Lead Clinical Trials Manager in Project Management, Regional Clinical Research Associate Manager and Lead/Field Clinical Research Associate. In addition, Mr. Bloomer has extensive therapeutic experience in CNS and Cardiovascular. Mr. Bloomer currently serves as Director, Program Delivery, General Medicine and Vaccines for a large CRO. In addition to his current position, Mr. Bloomer also serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Research and Leadership in the Department of Clinical Research Administration at The George Washington University Medical Center, located in Washington, DC. During his 15 year teaching career at GWU, he has taught courses in the areas of: Business of Clinical Research, Clinical Trials Monitoring and other courses related to Clinical Research. He has also been a national speaker on the topics of Clinical Trial Monitoring State Laws and Clinical Trial Contracts. Mr. Bloomer received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration with a second major in Sociology from Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana and a Masters in Health Administration from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Bloomer holds the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) through the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.
