Biography

Professor Diane Jones is the System Integration Leader, Department of Mid-Level Providers at St. Joseph Mercy Health System in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She remains clinically active as a PA in cardiothoracic surgery, which has been her specialty since she completed her training as a physician assistant at Cornell University Medical College.

Her doctoral dissertation examined the effects of medical team simulation exercises on the attitudes of surgical team members toward patient safety. Professor Jones joined the faculty in 2000.
