Biography

Dr. Donal Murray has been a faculty member of George Washington University since December of 2022 with the title of Assistant Professor. Dr. Murray’s primary teaching responsibilities include coursework within the Physical Therapy program as well as the Doctorate of Health Sciences Program. Dr. Murray also currently serves as the director of GW’s Clinical and Applied Human Physiology Laboratory within the Department of Health, Human Function and Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Murray has a background in exercise physiology and a strong interest in applied exercise physiology. Prior to joining the faculty of GW he spent 4 years in academia teaching both undergraduate and graduate level exercise physiology courses. Dr. Murray is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) & the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association (CEPA). Dr. Murray is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
