Elham Arbzadeh, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at George Washington University. Prior to joining GW, she completed a surgical pathology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, VA, a cytopathology fellowship at Georgetown University, and an Anatomical and Clinical Pathology Residency at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia.
Clinical Expertise
Dr. Arbzadeh’s clinical practice focus is to provide diagnostic services in breast and genitourinary pathology. In cytology, aside from diagnostic services, she performs Rapid On Site Evaluation (ROSE) for clinicians performing ultrasound (including endoscopic or endobronchial ultrasound guided) or CT-scan guided fine needle aspiration.
Research
Dr. Arbzadeh’s research interest is centered mainly on the immune microenvironment in breast ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).
