Biography

Erica Elefant, R.N., M.S.W. has close to 20 years of drug development experience and continues to work in the pharmaceutical industry. She is currently employed at Janssen Pharma as an Associate Director/Clinical Project Scientist within the department of CNS/Scientific Affairs. In this role she is responsible for managing publications, post marketing clinical studies and activities to further the scientific and clinical understanding of pain and psychiatric therapies. Prior to coming to Janssen Ms. Elefant was a Sr. Clinical Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb where she oversaw clinical operations for Phase 1 and 2 clinical trials and clinical development portfolios at the asset level. She also worked as a research nurse at Thomas Jefferson University and Pediatric Nurse at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In addition Ms. Elefant held an adjunct faculty appointment at Drexel University and is currently an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University for the graduate Clinical Research Administration Program.
