Biography

Kenneth R. Nanni, Ph.D. is the Executive Director / CEO of the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety and is an active member of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management. He has published several articles on risk management and patient safety including the online Risk Net Journal and the  Florida 2020 Patient Safety Report. Dr. Nanni completed his undergraduate work in rehabilitation services at the University of Florida, his master’s work in community health and wellness promotion at Independence University and he earned a doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University.  He completed a post graduate certificate program in non-profit governance from Harvard University, a post graduate certificate in executive leadership from Cornell University and a post graduate certificate in health informatics from Johns Hopkins University. Dr Nanni has considerable experience in the design and administration of online learning courses and is a member of the United States Distance Learning Association Board of Directors.
