Biography

Professor Miller has a diverse background first as a critical care nurse and nurse practitioner (CRNP), providing a first exposure to clinical research at the investigative site. She has also held leadership positions within many CRO and Sponsor Clinical Research & Development organizations. Kim has spent many years on the Sponsor side leading and managing Clinical Development Operations organizations within large and midsize Pharma and small startup Biotech companies. She has experience in developing and executing hundreds of clinical trials. Kim has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on all types of products within Clinical Development Operations. Her favorite focus is working with teams to develop very challenging combination products, specifically drug/device and biologic/device combinations. Both products have a synchronized clinical development plan that needs to be executed flawlessly. That's what makes it so complicated and interesting at the same time! Professor Miller received her MSN at Villanova as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and MBA at Moravian College. She also held CRNP preceptor roles at both Villanova and DeSales Universities.
