Biography

Megan Goldberg, MSW, LICSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, is a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral health. She maintains an active private practice in Washington, D.C., seeing clients in person at her Dupont Circle office and via telehealth across Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, and Massachusetts.

She specializes in ADHD, anxiety, trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, addiction, and couples therapy. Her work is grounded in a psychodynamic approach and integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, IFS, AEDP, and harm reduction strategies based on client needs.

At GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Goldberg teaches medical students psychosocial interviewing and communication skills, helping future physicians integrate psychological, social, and emotional factors into patient care. Goldberg earned her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Bachelor of Science degrees in Business and Psychology from Virginia Tech.
