Biography

Meredith Norwood, OTD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist, educator, and founder of The Therapy Collaborative in Normal, Illinois. She completed her Bachelor’s in Occupational Science (with minors in Psychology and Interprofessional Education) and Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Saint Louis University, and earned her Clinical Doctorate of Occupational Therapy at The George Washington University. Meredith has specialized pediatric inpatient experience from her time at Marshfield Children’s Hospital and Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, where she built expertise across complex conditions and developed a clinical focus on pediatric chronic pain and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). She also completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in the Primary Care Research Training Program at The George Washington University and contributed to the development and dissemination of a clinical care guideline to support equitable diagnosis and treatment for pediatric FND.
