Dr. Aziz, a native of Florida, moved to the Washington, DC area to pursue his medical degree at George Washington University. He elected to remain in the area to complete his dermatology residency at the combined Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center program. Although he enjoys all aspects of dermatology, he is most passionate about medical dermatology, including infectious diseases, medication induced rashes and cutaneous oncology.
Research
Dr. Aziz has published papers on a broad range of topics ranging from sarcoidosis to systemic lupus erythematosus. He has also authored several chapters on diseases in skin of color.
Community Service
Dr. Aziz is the sole volunteer dermatologist at the MCC medical clinic in Silver Spring, MD where he sees uninsured and under-insured patients pro bono.
