Patrick W. Mufarrij, M.D., is a urologist and an assistant professor with The George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences.
Originally from the Washington area, Dr. Mufarrij completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at Georgetown University. He then moved to New York City where he completed a six-year residency in Urology at NYU Langone Medical Center. After residency, Dr. Mufarrij pursued special training in endourology and completed a two-year fellowship at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, where he focused on metabolic kidney stone disease, surgery for complex kidney stones, and robotic surgery.
Dr. Mufarrij is a published author and has a particular interest in the management of complex kidney stones, prevention and metabolic evaluation of recurrent kidney stones, and robotic surgery for the reconstruction of the urinary tract.
