Bio

Paul Lin, M.D., FACS is currently the Vice Chair of the Department of Surgery at George Washington University. He is also Chief of General Surgery and Program Director for the General Surgery Residency. He has been with the surgery department at GW for nine years. Dr. Lin graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College and Harvard Medical School. He completed his General Surgery residency and Surgical Oncology/Pancreas and Hepatobiliary Surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Lin specializes in bariatric surgery, performing both laparoscopic and open approaches. He has particular interest in bariatric revision surgery, superobesity cases, and laparoscopic ventral hernia repairs. His other areas of specialty are in pancreas and hepatobiliary surgery, including extensive laparoscopic experience in liver surgery.
