Biography
Dr. Adler received her B.A. at Swarthmore College and M.D. at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She trained in Internal Medicine at Georgetown and was an Endocrinology and Metabolism Fellow at the joint Georgetown – Washington Hospital Center program.
Dr. Adler’s clinical interests include thyroid hyper and hypo function, thyroid nodules, ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration, thyroid cancer, and pituitary disorders.
Dr. Adler lives in Bethesda, MD (with her husband, two children, three dogs and one cat). She enjoys travelling, golf, skiing, and gardening.
Current Research Interests:
- Circulating Tumor Cells: Tumor Cell Identification, Isolation, and Characterization in Thyroid Cancer
- Utilization of Intraoperative Ultrasound during Nodal Dissection for Recurrent Thyroid Cancer.
