Dr. Harrouk is a master pharmacologist reviewer in the Division of Pharmacology Toxicology (DPT)/ Office of Anti-Infective Drugs), Office of New Drugs (OND), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Dr. Harrouk started her FDA career in 2000 as a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH). In 2001, she began her regulatory career in CDER, OND where she has served as a nonclinical reviewer in several review divisions in the following order: The Division of metabolic and endocrine products (DMEP), the Division of Reproductive and Urologic Products (currently DUOG), the Over The Counter (OTC) division, rare diseases (DPT/ORPURM) and currently OAID in OND. Dr. Harrouk has accumulated an extensive and unique body of review expertise in diverse products across the pharmaceutical spectrum within OND.
Research
Dr. Harrouk is interested in the field of genomics, drug development, general toxicology and developmental and reproductive toxicology, as well as regulatory science.
