Biography

Research

The research of our laboratory (https://weililab.org) spans three different exciting areas: genome engineering, computational biology and cancer biology. We are interested in combining gene editing technology (including CRISPR/Cas9 and CRISPR/Cas9 genetic screening) and computational/statistical models to better understand how coding and non-coding elements function especially in human cancer, and to further identify novel molecular targets to inform precision medicine.
